Welcome to The Scarlet Letter Project.

Many of us are familiar with the story of the scarlet letter. For those of you who aren’t, The Scarlet Letter tells a story of a woman who is forced to wear a scarlet letter “A” on her breast as punishment for committing adultery. The scarlet letter serves as punishment and shame for her sin.

Something as simple as a scarlet letter can carry deep personal truths for each and every one of us. The truth is that we all carry our own personal scarlet letters with us in our day-to-day lives. As human beings, we tend to judge others for their scarlet letters while keeping our own letter(s) hidden from society.

The mission of The Scarlet Letter Project is not to judge you for what society may think you have done is wrong. It is here to serve as a source of release and as a place where you can reveal your own personal struggles anonymously. As you share your letter and story, you may be surprised to find that you’re not alone in your struggles.

Feel free to use this blog as your own anonymous personal outlet and share your story. We all have a scarlet letter. What’s yours?
